Our Legacy of Leadership
Troop 44 has a proven track record of developing strong youth leaders. Generations of Scouts have advanced through our program, many earning the rank of Eagle Scout, and many more staying active until they age out at 18. Our adult leadership team—Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmasters, and Committee Members—provides consistent guidance and mentorship, ensuring a safe, supportive, and growth‑focused environment.

Linked Troops: Troop 44 & Troop 45
Troop 44 (Boys)
Troop 44 is the long‑established boys’ troop, active in Tallahassee since 1973. The troop provides a strong, balanced program built on decades of leadership, outdoor adventure, and community service.
Troop 45 (Girls)
Troop 45 is our linked girls’ troop, sharing the same leadership team, resources, and commitment to high‑quality Scouting. Troop 45 has already achieved major milestones, including its first Eagle Scout, and continues to grow through the same traditions that define Troop 44.
Together, Troop 44 and Troop 45 offer a unified Scouting experience for all youth. Both troops operate under the same leadership team, follow the same program structure, and participate in the same outdoor adventures, service projects, and leadership development opportunities. This linked‑troop model strengthens our community and ensures every Scout receives the same high‑quality program.
